BALFOUR:

Peacefully in Nairn Town and County Hospital on 11th January 2024, Major Roderick Anthony Christopher Balfour TD (Roddy), aged 84 years, Croy, Inverness (lawyer, Territorial Army Officer and local independent Highland Councillor), beloved husband of the late Rosemary (Cuming), brother to Stefanie, brother-in-law to Kate and Janey, stepfather to William, Sophie, Natalie, grandfather to their children and a good friend to many. A private interment will take place in Croy Cemetery. Memorial Service will be held on Friday 2nd February 2024 at 12.30pm in Fort George Regimental Chapel (parking in visitors car park but details of access for disability through funeral directors) with refreshments afterwards at Croy Village Hall from 1.45pm onwards. All welcome to attend. No flowers please. Donations may be given at the Chapel door.
